The equipment required to make cloth bags varies according to the material (e.g. plastic, non-woven cloth, paper) and fabric structure (e.g. flat bag, waistcoat bag, zipper bag, etc.). Common types and their core devices are as follows:
I. Core Equipment equipment by material
Plastic Bag Production Line
Membrane blower: Heat and melt plastic granules (such as PE, polypropylene) into thin films. It is the foundation of plastic bag production.
Bagging machine: This machine heats the sealing, will blow the membrane machine produces the film cut into flat bag, vest bag, drum bag and so on bag.
Printing press: A machine for printing patterns or words on film. A gravure press or flexographic printing machines (especially for short-run orders) is commonly used.
Laminator: This machine adopts multiple layers (such as PE + aluminum foil) laminator to improve the barrier properties of the bag. Mainly used in food and drug packaging.
Non-Woven Bag Production Line
Nonwoven cloth bag: using ultrasonic welding technology to fold, seal and cut waistcoat bag, tote bags, etc. Printing press: Printing a brand logos or pattern on a nonwoven cloth using screen printing or thermal transfer technology.
Sculptor: Adding textures or logos to a bag to enhance aesthetics.
Paper bag production line
Paper Bagging Machine: Fold paper into a square or sharp shape for shopping bags and food packaging.
Stickers: Apply a layer of plastic to paper bags to improve their moisture resistance and durability.
Imprint: Put a metal design on a paper bags to give it a premium feel.
ii. Core equipment by bag structure
Flat bags
Heat Seal and Heat Cut Bag Making Machines: Heat seal and cut the film, offering high production speeds and suitable for mass production.
Cold Cutting Bagging Machine: Cut the film directly with a blade to eliminate the heat generated during the heat sealing process, suitable for thermalsensitive materials.
Vest bag
Vest bag maker: Compare flat bags with increased machining cutting and folding processes and require a processing molding device. Zipper Bags
Zipper Bag Making Machines: These machines install zippers on cloth bags and require a complete zipper conveyor and heat sealing system. Suitable for food storage bags.
(Square-Bottom Bags
Eight-Side Seal Bag Making Machines: These machines use four-corner sealing technology to create stand-up bags, offering a secure and aesthetically pleasing seal. Usually used in high-end packaging.
Continuous Roll Bags (Point-Break Bags)
Continuous Reel Bags: These machines produce continuous reel bags with strike lines and easy tearing. They are usually used in supermarket shopping bags.
III. Auxiliary Equipment and Processes
Paper Cutting Machines: These machines cut large rolls of film or non-woven cloth to a specified width to meet the needs of different bag makers.
Rewinding machines: These reel in printed film for later bagging.
Testing equipment: These equipment, such as tension controllers and deviation detectors, ensure a steady flow of materials during production.
Recycling systems: These machines collect waste from the bagging process and resource recycling. IV. INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION Equipment Selection Recommendations
2. Small production: choose a single machine (such as the Zhengxin 350 non-woven bag), can produce around 6000 bags per hour, can be customized.
Mass production: Choose a fully automated production line (such as the Ruitai flat bag) that is highly productive but takes care to prevent sensor failure.
Multifunctional: Five all-in-one bag maker (such as E700), support flat bags and drawstring bags are recommended to save equipment costs.
Special materials: For fabrics containing metal wire, equipment a an anti-stuck design should be selected. If the temperature is low, a hot melt solution is required.
