The equipment required to make cloth bags varies according to the type of material (e.g. plastic, non-woven cloth, paper) and the fabric structure (e.g. flat bag, waistcoat bag, zipper bag, etc.). The following are common types and their core devices:
I. Core Equipment equipment by material
Plastic Bag Production Line
Film Blowing Machine: Heat and melt melts plastic granules (such as PE, polypropylene) into thin films. It is the foundation of plastic bag production.
Bagging machine: This machine heats the sealing, will blow the membrane machine to produce the film cut into flat bag, vest bag, drum bag and other bags.
Printing press: A machine for printing patterns or words on film. A gravure press or flexographic printing machines is commonly used (especially for short-run orders).
Non-Woven Bag Production Line
Non-Woven Bag: adopts ultrasonic welding technology to fold, seal, cut into waistcoat bag, tote bags, etc.
Printing press: Printing brand logos or designs on non-woven fabrics using screen printing or thermal transfer technology. Sculptor: Add texture or logo to the bag to enhance aesthetics.
Paper bag production line
Paper bag wrapper: Folds and glues paper into square or pointed bags for shopping bags and food packaging.
Coating machine: Cover paper bags with plastic film to improve their moisture resistance and durability.
Hot Stamping Machine: Adding a metal pattern to a paper bags to give a high-class feel.
ii. Core equipment by bag structure
Flat bag
Thermoseal hot-cut bag maker: Thermoseal hot-cut film, production speeds, suitable for mass production.
Cold cut bag machine: cutting the film directly with a blade, eliminating the heat sealing process, suitable for thermalsensitive materials.
Vest bag
Vest bag maker: Increased number of flat bags processed for cutting and folding, requiring a processing molding device.
Zipper Bag
Zipper Bag Making Machine: A full zip conveyor and heat seal system is required to install a zip on top of a cloth bag for food storage bags. Three-Dimensional Bags (Square Bottom Bags
Eight-sided sealing machine: using a quadrangle sealing machine to create vertical sealing machine, sealing strong and beautiful, commonly used in high-end packaging.
Continuous Roll Bags (Point-Break Bags)
Continuous Roll Bag making machine: the continuous bag with breaking point line, easy to tear, commonly used in supermarket shopping bags.
III. Auxiliary Equipment and Processes
Tailoring: Tailoring rolls of film or nonwoven fabric to specified widths to suit the needs of different bag makers.
Rewinding machine: Rewind printed film for subsequent bagging.
Test equipment: such as tension controllers and deviation detectors to ensure steady flow of material during production.
Waste recovery system: the collection of waste generated during bagging for resource recycling.
